The story takes place two years before Balraj and Mandakini's wedding. This was the time when Balraj was suffering from depression and the Thakur family was scattered like a mess.

Dhanraj was exactly the opposite of what is now. He was the 'unstoppable mad bull' of the Thakur family, whereas Balraj is the 'Lion' and Jairaj is the 'Wolf' of this family. Altogether, these brothers were invincible, but at this moment, they were separated. The lion was groaning in pain, the wolf was living under pressure to manage the responsibilities, while the mad bull was busy fucking women and gambling away family's property.

In one of the villages, that came under Thakur's sovereign, lived a beautiful and calm girl, Ragini. She was simple and polite, daughter of an ordinary farmer, she didn't have big dreams as she knew how much her father could do for her.

She had a younger brother, Chhuttan, too spoilt to be good. Her mother had died before her menarche. For her father, she was not more than a burden, that would be thrown away as soon as she gets married.

As an ardent Narayan devotee, she always believed in His will. She was mature enough to accept her fate happily, unaware of the hope coming to her, in the disguise of wrath - Dhanraj Singh Thakur!
